Privacy Policy

NeuralYug (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a technology company based in Kathmandu, Nepal. We respect your privacy and collect as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we store it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We only collect data you give us or that is needed to run and secure the site:

• Contact & project forms. When you use our contact form or the Start-a-Project (Blueprint Studio) flow, we collect the details you provide — your name and email, and optionally your company, phone, project type, budget, and message. We use these solely to respond to and scope your enquiry.
• The on-site assistant (chat). When you chat with our assistant, we process your messages to answer you, and we store the message, a random session identifier, and your IP address to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and to improve our answers. The assistant runs on our own servers and does not send your conversation to a third-party AI/LLM provider. The one exception: for a question outside our own knowledge base, the assistant may send that question to a third-party search service (Brave Search, Wikipedia, or DuckDuckGo) to find an answer — so avoid entering sensitive personal information into the chat.
• Cookies & local storage. We store one functional cookie (theme) for a display preference and a random session identifier in your browser's storage for the chat. Neither contains personal data, and we set no advertising, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.
• Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard web-server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for security and operation, as is normal for any website.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and scope your project.
• To operate and secure the site, including rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• To improve our assistant's answers over time.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell it.

How your information is stored & shared

Form submissions and chat data are stored in our own database on our own servers and, for enquiries, delivered to us by email through our own mail server — no third-party form processor is involved. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing. The only outward data flows are: (1) our hosting provider, which processes data as our infrastructure, and (2) the optional assistant web-search described above. Because we operate from Nepal, if you contact us from another country your data is processed in Nepal.

Data retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and our ongoing relationship. Chat logs and analytics are periodically purged as part of routine housekeeping. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry and chat data is restricted to our team. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@neuralyug.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here.
